The Vermont Brewers Festival is held annually at the Waterfront Park in Burlington. Brewers from all over Vermont, renowned for their high quality products, are invited to take part in the event. A village of tents are set up in the park, and visitors are welcome to sample the different beers, as well as enjoy great food and entertainment.

The Annual Northeast Kingdom Music Festival takes place at the start of August in Albany, VT. This festival offers two days and nights of camping, community, culture, circus acts, poetry, performance, politics, and roots & rhythm oriented, eclectic improvisational music on two stages. Every year teams of 20 rowers and one drummer guide 40-foot long canoes down Lake Champlain to celebrate the dragon boat tradition and to bring awareness to worthy causes. Other activities scheduled for this day include performances by dragon-dancers and live music.
