city reach it by turning off of highway Route 89. The Burlington
International Airport is a fully functional airport situated on the
east side of Route 89 and is approximately 4 mi (7.4 km) from the city center.
From April until November, the Harbor
Ferry travels across Lake Champlain transporting visitors and goods
between Port
Kent, New York
and Burlington several times a day. The city also features a Greyhound
terminal that connects Burlington to anywhere in the motorcoach company's
travel network.
Once arriving to the city,
visitors looking to get a taxi
or private
car ride will appreciate the number of cabs and car services that operate

Main Street
Burlington's Main Street has a large number of lodging options that cater to
any visitor's budget or taste, many of which are just minutes away from popular
tourist attractions such as the Lake Champlain waterfront and the Church Street
Marketplace. The Courtyard
by Marriott, which is positioned just off of Main Street and overlooks
the lake, is one such hotel. The city's largest hotel, the Sheraton
Burlington Hotel and Conference Center, is also located on the street,
halfway between the airport and city center. It is the perfect accommodation

lodging on Main Street. Generally, the thoroughfare is within close proximity
of a number of events. Yearly festivities such as the Discover
Jazz Festival which happens every June, is held at several different
venues across the city, which makes having a centralized place to stay an ideal
choice. Other popular events that take place close to Main Street include the
Dragon
Boat Festival in August and the Vermont
Mozart Festival in July

Similar to Main Street, this main roadway is home to several accommodations.
